Your future girlfriend shall be a friend

When you look at a girl, you shouldn't picture her as your girlfriend. Try picturing her as a friend.

I think, being friends first before dating is better than jumping the gun and not know anything about each other. But then again, some people like that. When me and Hannah were starting out, we saw each other as friends. All I ever did was try to get to know her. Not because I wanted her as a girlfriend, but more of a friend. I didn't even have the thought of her being my girlfriend, because I was fine on what we had. This was until I started to have a small crush on her. I never really told her about it, but she was the one that cracked first and told me she liked me.

She wasn't a best friend or anything like that, she was just a close friend. It was nice, because we didn't have to worry about any problems dealing with being more than friends or whatever, we were just two people sharing similar interests and enjoying each other's company. I see Hannah as my friend first, then a girlfriend. We are both weird, but then again there isn't anything wrong liking someone who is as weird as you.
